Event information:

Interfaith in Action is proud to announce part two of our Foodmobile service event series. We successfully delivered food last semester to many residents of Bement, IL. Now, we hope to achieve similar results this coming March.

Foodmobiles are emergency food delivery sites for communities that lack the ability to travel to more accessible food sources. Every Foodmobile will come with a Foodmobile Captain, a volunteer who has been trained on the distribution process and will be the main contact and volunteer coordinator the day of. Volunteers are needed to set up the food distribution area, hand out product to recipients, help recipients carry product to their car, and clean up after the distribution is over.

Time: Saturday, March 12 (8:45 AM- 12:15 PM)
Location: Sullivan VFW, 1146 State Hwy 32, Sullivan, IL

***We will meet at the Illini Union Circle Drive at 7:15 AM and we will depart at 7:30 AM. We also need drivers to take people to the site! If you volunteer to bring a car, Interfaith in Action will reimburse you for gas!

If you have any questions, please contact Yoomna Rahim at yrahim2@illinois.edu.
